Introductory Background Material

Man and current humanity living on Earth consider life as – and limit life to – anything that can be perceived and grasped with contemporary mundane waking consciousness and the physical senses. This assumes that intelligent life can only be of a physical form and substance. However life in the solar system and cosmos beyond the Earth contains life in many different forms, and at various levels of development.

Waking Consciousness

Waking consciousness refers to current humanity's predominant Condition of Consciousness (CoC) with perception of and thoughts about the mineral physical world during waking life. This in contrast with Man's state of sleep that goes hand in hand with this waking consciousness. The current state of consciousness links and maps to the current evolutionary stage whereby Man develops from lower to higher CoC.

How it Works

We distinguish the Human 'I', which is a spiritual entity, from 'what call our I' with our current waking consciousness. The latter is a mirror reflection of our true spiritual I.

The 'I' we know and we call ourself, is not our true spiritual I but a reflected image in maya made up from the sum of all our experiences during an incarnation. Our true 'I' is an entity in the mental (spiritual) world.

Man’s waking consciousness today is through the I-organization in the lower bodies (sentient, intellectual and consciousness soul in the astral, etheric and physical body), using the physical senses to experience the mineral-material reality, and the physical body and the Nerve-sense subsystem as a reflector.

• Physical senses are used for our sensory perception. It is the I who has this perception, using the physical body as a reflecting apparatus. Consciousness can be regarded as a bandpass filter: we consciously perceive what our senses hold back, the rest streams into our organism just the same even though this happens in our subconscious. With the physical senses Man perceives the Ahrimanic Material Imaginations (maya) that we know as our physical reality. The astral body creates images that are imprinted and stored in the physical body. As such, humanity 'consumes' life and physical reality and creates images from it, these images are what Man adds to the cosmos. [Each individual participates in human evolution at this level.]
• During sleep, the I and astral body 'disconnect' from the physical and etheric bodies, hence there are holes in the timeline of our conscious experience. During this time the I and astral body are involved in another process in the soul and spirit world.
• Through Initiation and exercises of meditation and concentration, Man can develop astral senses that perceive the spiritual reality. In this case of Incarnate Clairvoyance, the astral senses (Imagination, astral world) are used for inner reading of the cosmic wisdom of the solar system, using our own etheric and physical bodies as a reflector of the spiritual reality. In other words: During incarnation Man uses his etheric body as a gateway to 'read' the cosmic knowledge of the lower mental (spiritual) world, and the physical body to 'hear' the higher mental (spiritual) world.
• Between death and a new birth, Man develops a different and direct connection with the spiritual world. During the journey Man slowly grows from the astral and planetary world into the spiritual world (just as a newborn baby grows into the world over many years composed of seven year periods, but on a longer timescale and totally different conditions).

Conditions of Consciousness

Each 'condition of consciousness' can be conceptualized as a level of conscious awareness that, for human beings, begins with what was discussed above as waking consciousness. With each (higher) degree of clairvoyance, one's conscious awareness 'rises' through the higher spiritual realms (or worlds as they are sometimes referred to).

The Spiritual Hierarchies are of much higher consciousness and are far more advanced than human beings, which are evolving through their sacrifice as the tenth hierarchy (yet to be realized). It is important to understand that Man exists because of the wilful sacrifice of higher (spiritual) beings, each a sacrifice of Love.

^* The first Logos: Pure spiritual Light; The second Logos: Created out of a sacrifice of love of its own being by the First Logos (this gift of unconditional giving and sacrifice is called Love); Similarly, the second Logos gives rise to the third Logos through a mirroring of the sacrifice of the first Logos, culminating in a back-reflection of Love which is a longing or desire.

Creation of Solar Systems

Our solar system is to be considered as a whole and as an evolving organism. What we see and call our physical solar system is just a small part of it, a tip of the iceberg visible for physical senses and contemporary waking consciousness, see Cosmic fractal.

The solar system is really a system of evolving spiritual beings that roll-off a scheme of creation instigated by the three Logoi and the First Hierarchy. Central to this scheme or plan is the development of new classes of spiritual beings, furthering the existing spiritual hierarchies of spiritual beings. Man is the tenth hierarchy in this scheme, and an exciting breakthrough as it is the first class of spiritual beings that have free choice and love as the basis for future creation.

In general: When a fixed star evolves to a next stage or Condition of Consciousness (CoC) whereby the highest (triad) hierarchy is able to stream out its own substance in sacrifice, this hierarchy evolves to a zodiac and can lie at the start of a new solar system.

In the case of our solar system: after a previous evolution in another system and the pralaya (a period of rest) that follows, the First Hierarchy of Thrones, Cherubim and Seraphim was able to start a new creation. The sacrifice of the Thrones' warmth was the basis for the creation of Old Saturn.

In terms of coordination: A solar system is created by highly developed spirits that are below the three Logoi and Seven creative spirits, called Prajapatis (a term that originates from the Book of Dzyan, where they are also describes as 'builders'). They coordinate the process and state transitions between Conditions of Consciousness, Life and Form (the three dimensions of evolution).

The solar system evolution serves the continuous evolution of all spiritual hierarchies along a 'ladder' of Twelve Conditions of Consciousness. The constitution of a solar system follows the evolutionary needs of all spiritual hierarchies, hence environments are created for various populations at different stages of development. As a result, the constitution of the bodies in the solar system changes through the solar system lifecycle and the Three dimensions of evolution. At various stages, planets get created, split off, or merge again.

Summary

This [study shares] a number of statements by Initiates^* such as Daskalos, Sri M, Helena Blavatsky and Rudolf Steiner about extra terrestrial intelligences (ETI) that are more advanced than current humanity, and their interaction with humanity through the various epochs in the context of the development of Man on Earth.

This study seeks to pierce the veil of ignorance and misunderstanding of what is becoming a contemporary reality that humanity, more than ever before, must face. For over 80 years the subject of ETIs (Extra Terrestrial Intelligences) has existed in the background of many a conspiracy theory and is the subject of an unending collection of books, articles and movies. Most of these depictions claim that "little green men" have visited us in advanced spaceships, leading to many claims of governments covering up the retrieval of such beings and crafts. However, given the background information shared in the Introduction, we can begin to see – in the Light of Reality – that, indeed, there is something out there.

Though the primary source for what is shared here has been gleaned from the Free Man Creator website, I have limited this work to a select set of information that I felt remained as much as possible at an introductory level. The original source dives deeper into the subject by expanding on the number of statements made by Initiates^* such as Daskalos, Sri M, Helena Blavatsky and Rudolf Steiner about extra terrestrial intelligences (ETI) that are more advanced than current humanity, and their interaction with humanity through the various epochs in the context of the development of Man on Earth.

For my purposes, I chose the material shared on FMC provided by the Individuality Daskalos. My reasoning for this is twofold: The amount of material recorded of Daskalos is far greater than the others presented and this material, as recorded in several books by another, reads clearer (in my humble opinion). It must be stated, in any case, that I have not changed any material gleaned from FMC with the exception of minor editorial changes indicated by the use of [brackets]. The organization and presentation of the material here is my own. –ed.

^* Initiation is the process whereby Man consciously follows a process to ennoble and balance one's soul towards selfless love by the disciplined practice of specific and focused exercises that lead to Man's transformation and spiritualization. It ultimately leads to becoming one with the divinity. In ancient times, such processes were held in secret within the Mystery Schools. In our Age, the Age of the Consciousness Soul, every human being possesses the Impulse to work through the process of initiation through discipline and forces of the will.

Disclaimer: [Many of the topics discussed here] have an extraordinary potential for causing sensation, quite irrespective of their importance in an overall understanding of spiritual scientific matters. Because they stand at a tangent of the contemporary worldview of materialistic mineral science, they can easily be ridiculed as they defy the limited understanding of world and cosmos by the contemporary materialistic worldview. Furthermore these topics are bound to inspire wild phantasies out of ignorance in popular media, that are difficult to qualify for the uneducated reader from genuine stories by initiates.

• Humanity lives in a cosmos with various more advanced spiritual beings that are part of other communities such as those grouped on the planets of our solar system.

• These beings are spiritual entities (and [therefore are] not material or mineral-physical like Man on Earth).

  • They can materialize down from the spirit world and clothe themselves through the astral and etheric to appear in any form and ways not bound by the laws of physics.
  • They are at much higher levels of consciousness and hence only benevolent to humanity on Earth as stakeholders of humanity's development to brotherhood and selfless love rising above polarization and evil. [In short, they are not malevolent nor can they be. The malevolent beings that do exist, exist within the human being, creating a polarized battle for the soul of Man – a topic not covered in this study but I do encourage the reader to pursue.]

Important: Aliens have been part of the constructed narrative by the established powers and worldwide media to plant seeds and clearly position them as a security threat and an enemy of mankind in order to justify the building of defense systems. This is because that system always requires an enemy to create the divide and control the alignment of resources.

Daskalos, Mystic of Strovolos

The following excerpts are from Daskalos, as quoted by Kyriacos C. Markides in 'The Magus of Strovolos' (MoS, 1985) and 'Homage to the Sun' (HTS, 1987)

"... Extraterrestrials who visit us may be ... from other solar systems and ... visit us ... to ... help us evolve. They appear like flying saucers as a way of expressing themselves to us in a material form that we can understand. When they enter our system they gather matter from our planet and appear with the known human form characteristic of our planet ... When Martians [spiritual beings from the spiritual Mars 'behind' our planet Mars] come to Earth and arrive in the ionosphere of the Earth they create, by thought^*, whatever they desire. The objects created often appear to us as flying saucers."

^* Ref. The first Hermetic Principle: "The Universe is Mental – held in the Mind of THE ALL." –The Kybalion.

"... Those intelligences are more advanced and are masters of matter, they can materialize and dematerialize themselves at will. If [they] decide to materialize on Earth, [they] assume the shape of a human being ... but they are not bound to a place by a body ... the body is more like a house, and as an entity [they can go] in and out with as much ease as we enter and leave our homes."

Daskalos further stated:

• Extra Terrestrial Intelligences have come in the past, are coming now and will continue to come to the Earth in the future.
• He knew of over 40 different ETI groups coming to Earth and observing humanity ... they are very advanced super intelligences that truly love us, and help us to try and protect us from ourselves, as 'Guardians of Garden Earth' ... but they "prefer to watch humans from afar".
• He never met any with evil dispositions as they are coming from planets where there is no sense of evil ... they are affectionate, very loving, very wise ... like an archangel.
• These light beings are not composed of substance but of light, yet they can form and materialize any kind of body by their thought.
• They are masters of (de)materialization, so they can materialize with ships or disappear in an instant, be traceable on radar or not and just appear as a bright light or star without material vessel.
• Communication is not with language but with attunement (merging) of consciousness and transference ... they know in an instant everything about you (all your lives) and everything you know ... in contacts you also receive and feel love as a great bliss.

Quote A gives a general introductory statement on other beings, quote B gives a description with further details, and quote C describes a concrete encounter Daskalos had in 1969.

Quote A

The universe within which we live, is full of life forms and more intelligent than the ones with which we are familiar. We are not alone in the universe. Higher intelligences are overseeing the evolution of our planet. They are like guardians of our planet and some of us are in communication with them.

In earlier encounters I had with Daskalos, he described to me at some length how he encountered such beings, that according to him were theosized beings unencumbered by time and space who were masters of matter and were able to materialize and dematerialize themselves.

I confessed to Daskalos that I found such stories of 'extraterrestrials' too unbelievable for my humble brain and that .. I had difficulties reconciling the superb logical consistency and wisdom in his overall scheme of things and such 'wild' arguments about intelligent beings

Therefore, we should not expect to discover life in other planets the way we understand it and the way it is expressed on our Earth. Life is everywhere and not only in environments known to us. .. even the sun itself is full of life, and organized life at that. Don't you think it is rather egotistical to expect life to express itself always in the manner with which it is expressed on our planet? Just keep in mind that orthodox science has yet to explain or cope with such simple phenomena as fire-walking, telepathy or even clairvoyance. They are beginning to acknowledge them as phenomena but they can't explain them. And they still cannot understand how so-called UFOs travel with such high velocity and appear and disappear instantly. If orthodox science cannot do that, how can we assume that, because the conditions as we know them on Earth do not exist on Mars, therefore there is no life there?

Ultimately, in our own evolution, we will also become liberated from the necessity of gross matter and of the natural environment on Earth as we know it. Gross matter will no longer be an obstacle to us. We wouldn't, for example, need oxygen so that we could breathe. We would be able to travel instantly into the very depths of the Earth and inside the sun, if you will, without being affected by the element of fire. By then we would have become masters over the elements. Therefore, when we travel to the other planets of our solar system and we search for life as we know it, we will never find it. Those intelligences are more advanced, they are masters of matter. They dress themselves with gross matter at will. They have a shape similar to ours, they are human beings who have passed through the Idea of Man and, yes, they do have organized societies.

[these entities] are assisting those of us who are at lower levels of evolution. Pay attention, not every being within our solar system is on the same level of evolution. Those who are at higher levels help those below to evolve. And when every entity attains the stage of Theosis then our solar system will have no purpose to exist. It will, sooner or later, disintegrate. Note that not all planets of our solar system are at the same level of evolution. For example, the entities on Mars may be of the highest stage of development. They may be residing within the spirit world counterpart of that planet. Consequently, they could travel anywhere within our solar system and even beyond it into other solar systems and galaxies.

Those extraterrestrials who visit us may be, therefore, from other solar systems and they visit us in order to challenge us and help us evolve. They appear like flying saucers as a way of expressing themselves to us in a material form that we can understand. When they enter our system they gather matter from our planet and appear with the known human form characteristic of our planet.

Quote B

At my probing Daskalos revealed that he communicated telepathically with beings that reside on Mars. Although, he said, it was possible for him to visit them he had neither the desire nor the reason to do so.

You can go there by travelling with incredible speed, using only the mental body. It takes about an hour to arrive there, but you can return in fifteen minutes. Your body draws you back much more quickly. Only a master who has gone beyond the spirit world and entered into the world of meanings and ideas can visit other planets. As for myself, it is here on this Earth that I have been assigned to teach, and here will I come to teach again.

.. Daskalos added that although he had never visited Mars, he coordinated himself with beings on that planet and learned a great deal about them.

Do they have a gross material body?

Sometimes they do, but it is different from ours. The human beings that live on Mars are much superior to ourselves. They are masters of matter. They can materialize and dematerialize themselves at will. Their material body looks like two triangles, of the head and of the chest. The waist is very small and the hands and legs resemble ours. Their heart differs from ours and their blood is very thick and has the color of honey. Their body is not complex and even though they have a circulatory system, they have few arteries and veins. Our blood takes thirteen minutes to circulate. In the body of a Martian it takes an entire day. The deterioration of their body does not proceed at the same tempo as ours.

The body of a Martian is more like a house to him. As an entity he gets in and out with as much ease as we enter and leave our homes. His body makes very few movements and he uses it as if it were his workshop. Martians are not bound to a place nor are they enchanted by it the way we are.

When a Martian comes to Earth he leaves his body behind. His blood continues to circulate but the tenant is absent. When he arrives at the ionosphere of the Earth he creates, by thought, whatever he desires. The objects created often appear to us as flying saucers.

If he decides to materialize on Earth, he assumes the shape of a human being, sometimes wearing clothes that seem to be an extension of his body. What creates this impression is the concentrated etheric energy. He may also appear dressed like us, wearing a suit for example. He can shape matter at will. He can absorb ideas and meanings by coordinating himself with the thought of humans on Earth and, through the power of visual imagery, he can materialize and look like them. He may then sit in a coffee shop, have a drink and speak the local language. Since he can coordinate himself with human thought, he can know whatever humans know.

If that is the case, then they must know what is happening on Earth.

They certainly do. Why do you think they visit us?

Do they have any influence over our planet?

They must so that we may not destroy it again. They have always visited our planet through the centuries and humans have seen them as angels or gods. I would say they are eternal beings like ourselves but on a higher stage of evolution. They have transcended the idea of Evil.

How is it that we have not discovered them as yet?

Who told you they are not in contact with a lot of us?

Do you think it is easy to discuss these matters publicly? But I am telling you .. I have come into contact with such beings .. I am now in contact with them ... I know a lot of things about them and there is nothing I know that they do not know through coordination. Who is going to believe me? Who is going to accept what I say?

Daskalos then narrated an experience he had had with such beings ... this took place in 1969.

I felt them coming. I was out of my body and I came near their spaceship which was roving over my house. The beings inside sent me a message urging me to return to my body because the spaceship could burn my etheric. When I returned I heard a neighbor, an old woman, screaming that the Turks were coming. She saw the spaceship, which looked like an expanding and contracting ball of light, and assumed that the Turks were attacking. I tried to calm her down and explained to her, in vain, that it was not the Turks but a UFO with beings from outer space. I went inside and then the UFO disappeared.

They returned late that night. Two of them materialized in my house. They looked like men. They explained to me that they could take on the characteristics of the beings of the planet. They wore silvery suits and it was hard to distinguish their outfits from their skin. When I touched them I felt as if I had touched a snake. We communicated by thought. They entered into my aura and at that moment they knew everything I knew.

My late wife, who was present, offered them some baklava which she had just baked. They spat it out the moment they put it in their mouths. It was too bitter for them. There was too much earth in what we gave them, they said. They then demonstrated for us how they nourished themselves. We turned the lights off and they drew cosmic light that brightened the entire room. They were absorbing it into their bodies.

Before leaving they told us that it was their wish not to make their existence known to the public as yet.

Do these extraterrestrial beings have families like us?

I believe so.

I asked whether they bore children like humans, and whether they reproduced themselves through sexual contact.

This I do not know. They may reproduce themselves differently. They act through thought and attract one another through love. That is how they are born. In our case the reproductive process is the domain of the Holy Spirit without our conscious participation. These Martian entities, on the other hand, are masters of their bodies. They know and control whatever is happening to it.

Do they die?

No. They dissolve their bodies and create new ones.' They are eternal gods. Of course we are gods, too. But they have reached the stage of Theosis. They are Logoi who live an archangelic existence of their own. They can, for example, descend to the center of the Earth and acquire the appearance of the angels of fire. They can also penetrate another element and assume the image of the idea of that element.

... It appears .. that only a few have or use a gross material body.'

An extract from the context of the descent of Skylab to Earth in July 1979

When Daskalos came out of his trance once more, he continued ... to narrate his experiences with the extraterrestrials.

I just saw three flying saucers. The entities inside communicated with me ... they invited me to move onto their side and observe their work. These entities are really advanced. They live in the higher spirit world and have no form. They asked me to abandon the image of myself and join them . ...

Now I must leave behind the image of myself and ascend formless with only my self-awareness.

...

"We are the guardians of garden Earth," they said. "Your Earth is like a nursery school of noisy infants."...
They seemed as if they were working in groups which gave me the impression of flying saucers. I asked them whether they in fact were flying saucers but they seemed to ignore my question. Their response instead was that they are 'space people' ... they live around our planet.

..

I communicated with these beings by coordinating myself with them. I was inside them and they were inside me. I expressed a wish to meet them again and invited them to come down to Earth. They refused. They preferred, they said, to watch us from afar. "You know the way, come and meet us here," they replied. Perhaps it is not pleasant for them to visit the Earth. When I was about to return to my body they advised me, "Come pass through us so that you may go down rested." I felt very relaxed after that. They truly love us.

Daskalos expressed his amazement and ruminated upon the nature of these superintelligences.

I felt as if they were a form of light with vibrating intensity. They are innumerable.

There was a pause as Daskalos pondered over his experience. ...

I was receiving their thoughts and I could understand them. I had the impression that whatever I knew they knew.

Another Encounter

I asked Daskalos whether he had any prior contacts with extraterrestrial beings other than those he encountered while working on Skylab.

`Yes,' he said, and began to narrate another encounter he had had with such a being some time in the past.

I felt him somewhere near Petra Tou Romiou [a spot on the southern shore where, according to Homeric legend, Aphrodite was born. According to Daskalos it is one of the energy or magnetic centers of the planet]. I was in exomatosis with lacovos and Theophanis. After I escorted them back to their bodies I returned to the same place in search of him.

"But I have seen you," I muttered, "where are you?"

"I am inside you," he whispered. "I am inside you so that we can have a common center for communication. How would you like me to give you some experiences? Spread out," he commanded me.

"I can do this," I responded.

"I know that you can do it, but now it is going to be through a different method."

"What do you mean?"

"Just wait and you will see." For a moment I felt everything was inside me and that I spread over a large area. "Become the pulsation of Life. Forget who you are."

Some higher beings have names

Daskale, I asked, have you met any of these superintelligences here on Earth, among other human beings?

You mean while walking in the street?

Yes. Several. They move and look like ordinary people. I can spot them through their aura and communicate with them through thought. One day I was walking on Ermou Street right in the heart of the bazaar. It was the first time I encountered such a being.

Did he have a name?

It is possible that when such a superintelligence comes down he acquires a name. The one I met is a great master. The Logos blinded him temporarily when he appeared in front of him like fire. Now do you understand who I am talking about?

Iacovos nodded affirmatively but it required further probing on my part to realize to whom he was referring. `Was he a Cypriot?' I asked rather naively.

No, Daskalos replied lowering his voice. He was Saint Paul who in his present incarnation lives as Father Hilarion down in the Sudan. Some friends of mine met him there. He materializes and dematerializes like a great master.

Note: The superintelligences Daskalos describes here link to the level of archangel or archai as described on this page. At each evolutionary stage there are various cohorts at different stages of development. Through the epochs, the leaders of Mankind consist of (small cohorts of) advanced beings that are ahead of human mainstream development and are directly connected with a being from the third hierarchy at the levels of the higher bodily principles (or, Man's higher triad – the actual 'higher self' or true spiritual 'I'), and, as so, they are 'ensouled' and receive direct inspiration from higher beings: an Angel, Archangel or Archai.

The following excerpt is from a book by another author: Chapter 9, Guardians of Garden Earth in 'You are the Whale' by Daniel Joseph (2020).

Daskalos reports that there are over 40 different ETI groups coming to Earth and says he is in contact with most of them. He confirmed that he, "never met any [aliens] with evil dispositions", he further said that "they are coming from planets where there is no sense of evil".

ETIs Extra Terrestrial intelligences have come in the past, are coming now and will continue to come to the Earth in the future. In the distant past, humans identified these visitors as Angels or Gods. Yet, they are Eternal Spirit Beings like us but incredibly more evolved as they have reached true Self-Realization and work in the worlds of existence for a higher purpose.

Late in October 1989 during a stoa lesson Daskalos he abruptly shifted to talking about Extra Terrestrials (ETI) and said,

"Well I tell you, when they [ETIs] come, whether they materialize themselves or they don't, when they are near me, anything I know they know. No need to speak with any language. They are so advanced. How do I understand them? They try to imprint in myself what they know. I tell you even the most wise [human] on the planet is a child to their eyes. They love me and I love them, they're like real friends"

The ETIs are Masters of Materialization & Dematerialization. In the 3rd dimension their ships can be seen with material eyes and tracked on Radar. And they can make their ships disappear in an instant. Some ETIs Use ships for their observations and purposes.

Other ETIs are here around the planet in the higher noetical plane using their higher noetical body which looks like a star of light and do not need or use material ships. They are focused on serious world problems such as our addiction to war and nuclear weapons. They have stated to Daskalos and others that they will not allow us to destroy our planet in a global exchange of atomic bombs.

Daskalos also reports that the crack in the Ozone layer was not caused by CFCs as believed. The crack had been caused by atomic explosions tested above ground. And that the ETIs work to rejoin it from South Pole to Northern Canada.

As mentioned, some ETIs do not need material bodily forms. Some call these ETIs Light Beings because their bodies are not composed of substance but of light. Yet they can form and materialize any kind of body by their thought — animal or human.

Daskalos called these Beings, the space people saying,

"They are like an Archangel .. they are affectionate, very loving, very wise .. many of the good highly evolved people from Atlantis are now these space people."

The Space People are helping us and trying to protect us from ourselves. Daskalos met with them many times. They told him:

"We are Guardians of Garden Earth. Your planet is like a nursery school of noisy infants."

Daskalos quipped back "It is also a garden of parasites and viruses."

"No", they asserted, it is an expression of life."

Now of course Daskalos and these 'space people' were not speaking audible words. Communication with them is through attunement, meaning their consciousness was in Daskalos and Daskalos consciousness was in them. Through attunement with them he could receive their ideas and understand each other.

On multiple occasions Daskalos invited ETIs to come visit him in his home. Some did, but these ones he called the space people said,

"No, we prefer to watch humans from afar; You know the way, come and meet us here".

When telling this Daskalos warmly spoke,

"These super intelligences truly love us. They are so advanced .. that meeting with you, in an instant they know everything about you. Everything - from all your incarnations, just by looking. By casting the light of their consciousness on you they know everything about you. Humans can too but it takes much time - centuries of training to reach that level."

ETIs do select people to work with who can receive their thoughts & understand to some degree. And of course, they don't select people who cannot understand and who they cannot convey to them their thoughts and their life. But is that any different than when we communicate with people around us? What else do we offer when talking to people other than presenting our ideas as thoughts, but only to the extent they can understand them and not more?

Daskalos enthusiastically continued,

".. these space people are masters of matter, they are gods, not the God, but gods, nonetheless. Being in the company of normal people, they are feeling great pity, seeing humans talking and talking and talking and saying nothing. What people do is one person is trying to convince the other that he is better than him and he knows more. Because the one wants to impose his ideas on the other, and the other, of course, back to him, they will be separated and displeased, because they cannot understand each other. Even those who are advanced, and have more understanding, in talking with other people can only offer their ideas to the others. True!

"What more? What else do the space people give .. when you come in touch with them?

In passing these things to you, they also give you love. And you feel that love as not only satisfaction, but also as a great bliss."

Daskalos invited these ETIs to his home, and they came, but not in the body form used on their planet, they came in typical 'Earthling' bodies they had materialized.

Their normal bodies are not as tall as Earthlings and not as good looking, at least to our eyes. Their material bodies are not composed of separate organs as Daskalos reported. And their thick honey like blood takes one to three days to completely circulate. Whereas our blood circulates through our body every thirteen minutes. Their bodies do not deteriorate as fast as ours and they live an astonishing 300 to 400 years. And when their material body dies it is not a big deal to them. They just materialize a new body and enter it.

There are ETIs around the planet observing us. There are ETIs that are here living on the planet among us in bodies that look and behave like we do. We must try to understand that ETIs are at the highest level of consciousness, super conscious self awareness. Which means they can materialize multiple bodies like the masters who have reached this level of consciousness can do. And just like these masters, they can either enter that body or just receive impressions from it. If they do not enter the body then it behaves like a robot, like elementals do.

Communication with them is done by coordination and attunement. There is no need to speak in any language. Communication is through thought transference. This means they can know what you know in an instant .. what would take months and months of talk to reveal.

In this short movie, Daskalos makes the point (once again) that what contemporary culture and mineral science considers extra terrestrial life, should not be regarded from the dimension of the mineral physical plane (just and only because this is the experience of how most human beings on Earth function today), but that these are entities visiting through mental and astral travel. Angels

The following excerpts are from lectures given by Rudolf Steiner in 1918 and 1924. At the time, the terminology we use today regarding ETIs was, in general, not used in the early 20^th century. However, in coordination with the material provided above, RS talks of ETIs in the framework and terminology of Angelic Beings. Who can deny that, absent current language regarding such phenomena, if one of these beings suddenly appeared before us we might refer to them as angels, or gods, or 'beings from outer space'? ~Anthony

This perspective is the Anthroposophical community's discussion of UFOs and trying to place them in a spiritual scientific context based on the work by Rudolf Steiner. Spiritual science is the modern term for the ancient wisdom about Man, the microcosmos and the macrocosmos. It is "a path of cognition, and communicates knowledge gained in a spiritual way, to guide the spiritual in the human being to the spiritual in the universe".

Background: While we Sleep

At night, while sleeping, the human creature is entirely different from the same creature during the day.

The human being is quite different and functions very differently during the day and the night. During daytime, the human being is structurally made up of four bodily principles that are closely connected and in their joint functioning give rise to Man's waking consciousness. During the process of sleep however, the human astral body and human 'I' are loosed from their connection of the physical and etheric bodies that stay in bed.

During sleep, Man loses his daytime waking consciousness and therefore is not consciously aware of what is going on, so his life experiences consist of daytime experiences with waking consciousness, separated by 'blanks' of the nighttime periods.

'The Work of the Angels In Mans Astral Body'

Lecture given in Zurich 9 October 1918. The reader is encouraged to read the full lecture.

And what if this should happen after all? What if humanity on Earth should persist in sleeping through the momentous spiritual revelation of the future?

If this were to happen in respect of the freedom of the religious life, for example, if men were to sleep through the repetition of the Mystery of Golgotha on the etheric plane, the reappearance of the etheric Christ, or other matters as well,

then the angels would have to try different means of achieving what the pictures they weave in the astral body of Man are intended to achieve.

If men do not allow this to be achieved in the astral body while they are awake, the angels would, in this case, endeavour to fulfill their aims through their sleeping bodies. Therefore what the angels could not achieve, because in their waking life men slept through it, would be achieved with the help of the physical and etheric bodies of men during actual sleep. It is there that the angels would seek forces required for the fulfillment of what could not be achieved through men in their wide awake consciousness when the souls were within the etheric and physical bodies in the waking state. It would be achieved by means of the etheric and physical bodies in the sleeping state, when human beings who ought to be awake to what is going on were outside these bodies with their I and astral body.

Here lies the great danger for the age of the consciousness soul. This is what might still happen if, before the beginning of the third millennium, men were to refuse to turn to the spiritual life. The third millennium begins with the year 2000, so it is only a short time ahead of us.

It might still happen that the aim of the angels in their work would have to be achieved by means of the sleeping bodies of men — instead of through men wide awake. The angels might still be compelled to withdraw their whole work from the astral body and to submerge it in the etheric body in order to bring it to fulfillment. But then, in his real being, Man would have no part in it. It would have to be performed in the etheric body while Man himself was not there, just because if he were there in the waking state, he would obstruct it.

But what would be the outcome if the angels were obliged to perform this work without Man himself participating, to carry it out in his etheric and physical bodies during sleep? [cont'd]

Now in the Cosmos there are many beings belonging to different regions. In the region where we meet with the dead and can follow them for ten, twenty or thirty years after their death until they leave this region, are to be found a number of beings who are undoubtedly real, but who, unperceived by men, enter into our physical world. Perhaps I can best describe them as a particular kind of elementary being. When, therefore, we follow the dead after they have passed through the gates of death, we enter into a world inhabited by all kinds of elementary beings who are endowed with form and who really belong to that world. We may say therefore that, since these beings appertain to that world, they ought in reality to utilize only the forces pertaining to it.

Now amongst these elementary beings will be found some who do not confine their activities to their own world, but who observe men when they write, for example, and who follow all the activities within the world of men between birth and death. We are permanently surrounded by such beings who are spectators of our activities.

Now this spectator role is not in itself harmful, for the essence of the entire plan underlying what I am now describing is that all the worlds which border on our own, the world we enter immediately after death, the world where we contact the dead many decades after death, all these worlds lack everything that Man acquires through his association with the physical world. In this world of the dead there is, for example, neither writing nor reading; there are no aeroplanes, no motor cars or coaches-and-four as we know them.

We cannot say that here on Earth we construct motor cars, write, read and write books, in all of which angels do not also participate. We cannot say that all these things have no significance for the cosmos in general. The fact is that those beings which I have just described are ‘commissioned’ from the world immediately adjacent to our own. They have to keep an eye on the activities of man. From other worlds they are charged with the mission to concern themselves with human nature and to preserve what they learn in that field for future times.

As human beings we are able to carry over our karma from one life to the next and also the effects of external culture upon our karma. We can carry over from one earthly life to another our experiences associated with the motor car, but not the construction of the car itself. We cannot ourselves carry over from one life to the next that which is born of earthly forces alone. In the course of civilization, therefore, mankind has laid the foundations of something that would be lost to it if other beings had not come to its aid. Now the beings of whom I have spoken are ‘detailed’ for the task of preserving for the future that which Man cannot carry over from one earthly life to another.

Since in past ages it has been most difficult for many of these beings to fulfil their tasks, much of what had been discovered in ancient times has again been lost to humanity. The salient point I am trying to establish is that we are surrounded by beings who, in accordance with the cosmic plan, have been charged with the mission to carry over into the future that which Man himself is unable to transmit from one earthly life to another, especially the abstract content of our libraries, for example.

The spiritual beings with whom Man is in direct contact cannot do it and therefore we as human beings cannot do it either.

These beings must enlist into their service others who had long been alien to them, who had experienced a totally different evolution from the spiritual beings associated with Man. These beings with their different evolution I have called in my books, ahrimanic beings. Despite their different evolution there are occasions when they come in contact with our own, when, for example, we build a motor car. They are beings who are able by virtue of their ahrimanic cosmic forces to understand modern techniques such as the construction of a motor car. They transmit to future ages the technical achievements of civilization which Man himself cannot carry over from one incarnation to the next.

UFOs

Introduction

This topic aims to provide a spiritual scientific perspective on the phenomena called in mainstream media 'UFOs' and 'alien abduction' in the period of 130 years between the years 1895 and 2025. The goal is to present it in a scholarly way with documented statements and references.

This subject matter is highly sensational as it provides an 'ontological shock' for the mainstream contemporary worldview of mineral science. Hence mostly erroneous labels and misunderstandings abound, which makes it difficult to approach the subject in a neutral objective way.

It is recommended to study the contents on this page with an open mind and withhold any judgement during the process.

This page has the intention to provide a bridge for two audiences: the first audience versed in an in-depth understanding of the spiritual scientific knowledge framework, and the second larger audience coming from the mainstream contemporary worldview of mineral science and research into these topics. Indeed researchers on 'ufos' and 'abductions' are confronted with a worldview conflict (ontological shock, as John E. Mack phrased it), and have little or no spiritual worldview knowledge. Similarly, people with spiritual worldview knowledge have no in-depth knowledge of the field of 'ufo abductions'. Hence connections are not made, and some didactic process is needed to juxtapose both stories and show how the one explains the other. This process however requires considerable investment into acquiring the missing in-depth knowledge.

Note: it is unfortunate that this subject matter should be presented using the terms 'UFO' and 'abductions', because with these the phenomena is 'boxed in' totally devoid of its spiritual dimension, referring to something observed with the physical earthly senses and projected/interpreted in a mineral-physical-only world and worldview. The materialistic interpretations describing this from a material perspective offer no explanations but stress a the element of fear and loss of control. Hence the phenomena are on the one hand embarrassing for mineral science, whilst at the same time also being heavily politicized.

The terms 'Unidentified Flying Object' (UFO) and Unidentified Aerial (or anomalous) Phenomenon (UAP) are used to denote aerial phenomena that cannot be explained by and waking consciousness and contemporary physical mineral science. In popular media also the term 'flying saucer' was used.

This is a typical case where contemporary science cannot explain, and hence the dominant worldview with all its representative powers use all possible means to play down the reported facts, and this includes to minimize, ridicule or come up with ridiculous bogus explanations (balloons are very popular, but in the past it went as far as swamp gas).

As such this is a case of a conflict as explained on worldview wars, just as is homeopathy, Near Death Experiences, Out of Body Experiences, synchronicity, and so many other phenomena that require the spiritual scientific worldview or paradigm for an explanation. Because many phenomena materialize in the physical world but actually happen in the higher astral or spirit worlds where other laws apply.

The 'Airship Craze' end of 19th Century

During the late 19th century, especially between 1896 and 1897, mysterious or phantom airships were reported in various parts of the world primarily in the United States, but also in Europe and other regions.

The airships were described as having a cigar-shaped body, sometimes with glowing lights or bright windows, and were able to hover in the air, move at high speeds, and travel silently. Some sightings included reports of seeing humanoid figures or mysterious people aboard the airships.

In 1896–1897, the 'Great Airship Mystery' was most prominent in the United States, particularly in the Midwest, California, and the Southern states. Witnesses reported seeing large, mysterious airships flying at night and hovering in the sky. The first prominent sightings occurred in California in 1896, where people reported seeing a cigar-shaped object flying silently at high altitudes. One of the most famous accounts involved an airship sighting over Sacramento in November 1896, which was reported widely in newspapers. The sightings continued into 1897, with reports from Texas, Kansas, Colorado, and Nebraska. The media during this time fueled the mystery, with many newspapers publishing sensational accounts of airship sightings. Some of these stories were hoaxes or exaggerated accounts, but they added to the mystique of the phenomenon.

Furthermore (info from internet, not checked):

• In Canada, sightings were most concentrated in the western provinces, including British Columbia and Alberta.
• Though rare, there were also some reports of of airships or strange flying objects in South America during the 1890s: some Argentinian and Brazilian newspapers reported sightings of mysterious flying objects that resembled the cigar-shaped crafts seen in the U.S. and Europe. Argentinian reports of 1897 described strange, glowing airships in the sky, often accompanied by descriptions of high-speed flight and unusual light patterns in the sky. There was a brief wave of airship reports in the northern regions of Mexico, near the U.S. border, in 1897.
• There were also reports from Europe, with sightings in France in 1897 of "mysterious flying machines" (cigar-shaped airships) and the United Kingdom in 1896-1897 (Britain, Scotland), though fewer in number compared to the U.S. sightings.
• Also in Australia sightings of mysterious airships were reported around the same time period In the 1890s, several newspapers from New South Wales in Australia reported sightings of strange flying lights and mysterious craft in the night sky. People described the craft as being cigar-shaped, with bright lights that hovered or moved at high speeds across the sky. Other reports came from Victoria in 1896, where individuals claimed to have seen unusual aerial objects that resembled the mysterious airships seen elsewhere.

In conclusion, the 'Great Airship Mystery' of 1896–1897 was the peak of the phenomenon. In the years immediately before and after this wave, sightings were significantly fewer and usually less dramatic in comparison. The airship phenomenon began to decline significantly, but there were sporadic reports in the early 1900s and the phenomenon largely faded from the public's attention until the rise of UFO sightings in the 1940s and 1950s. Contributing factors affecting the lowered general attention were certainly the growing development of aviation technologies, and the two world wars between 1914 and 1945.

Overview of 20th Century

UFOs became known worldwide (during and) after World War II, with a large surge in sightings in the US in the period June-July 1947 and the famous 1947 Roswell UFO incident in 'Area 51' (New Mexico). It was later found that already during WWII there were sightings by both UK's RAF and Germany's Luftwaffe pilots and airplane crews, and also that this may already have been the case before, eg WWI.

While the scientific research community states/claims that a majority of reports (say 70-80%) could or might be explained by known causes and phenomena, it is also acknowledged that a category of unexplained reports remains. Over the decades, thousands of such unexplained cases have been registered, and sightings include those by pilots, passenger airplanes, military radar and jet pilots. Sometimes the sighting has dozens up to hundreds of witness reports.

Triggered by the large number of reports across the world since the 1940-50s, various nations (a.o. US, UK, France, ..) started governmental and military investigation programs. In the US the most famous program was Project Blue Book between 1947 and 1969 with oa Allen Hynek (1910-1986). In France there was the 1999 'COMETA' report on UFOs and Defense. Especially in the last decade(s), governments have released official military documents that acknowledge the factual existence of UFOs.

Furthermore, whereas initially there were only witness reports and some black and white pictures, in recent times also video material has become available. A broadly known example are the so-called Pentagon UFO videos, recordings of cockpit instrumentation displays from US Navy fighter jets based aboard aircraft carriers USS Nimitz and USS Theodore Roosevelt in 2004, 2014 and 2015, and additional footage taken by other Navy personnel in 2019. More material by Navy personnel became available in 2019 with objects hovering above USS Russell, as well as a video from the USS Omaha. After front page coverage in The New York Times (of 2017-12-16) of the US Department of Defense's secret UFO program AATIP (Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program), the Pentagon formally released UFO videos in 2020 and made an official statement about these materials in 2021. Contemporary media material includes registration at various radar frequencies, infrared, etc.

Summary Observations

The concise elements below are to illustrate the broad variance in UFO observations:

• Size estimates: vary greatly, from 10-15m up to about 1,5km
• form: disc shaped, triangular, boomerang-form

• Appearance:

  • metallic
  • shining lights, sometimes different lights in a certain pattern

• Behavior in the air:

  • can 'hang in the air' still without moving
  • can shoot off vertically up or down at high speed
  • can 'shoot off' sideways and just seemingly disappear (de-materialize)

  • Airplane pilots state:

    • extreme speeds (est. to upto 20.000 km/h) and rates of acceleration
    • extreme rates of climb and maneuverability (eg making 90 degrees turns at extremely high speeds)
    • can follow airplane however the plane chooses to change course
    • the objects sometimes appear to 'wobble' or rotate even when moving at very high speeds

• Other:

  • silence, total lack of noise
  • absence of any trail
  • move at high speed from air to under water and back, and split from one into two

Mankind currently does not have physical technology that is able to come near to the performance and observed behaviour of these 'flying objects', nor is there any material-scientific explanation, as the observations seem to defy current knowledge and laws of physics.

Adepts on UFOs

Adepts (and initiates) can speak from experience in higher states of consciousness (and a higher bandwidth of experiencing reality beyond the physical plane), so their statements have a different level of 'authority' and truthfulness compared to opinions of the average human being (see also White Lodge, Spiritual guidance of mankind, and Stages of clairvoyance). Therefore it is interesting to hear statements from such sources about matters which are anyway not understandable to contemporary materialistic or mineral science, which only considers at the physical-mineral dimension and ignores the higher worlds that are in scope of spiritual science (see also Relationship between mineral and spiritual science).

Some words of an adept, Daskalos (full extracts higher on this site) in the 1970s and 1980s.

Therefore, we should not expect to discover life in other planets the way we understand it and the way it is expressed on our Earth. Life is everywhere and not only in environments known to us. .. even the sun itself is full of life, and organized life at that. Don't you think it is rather egotistical to expect life to express itself always in the manner with which it is expressed on our planet? Just keep in mind that orthodox science has yet to explain or cope with such simple phenomena as fire-walking, telepathy or even clairvoyance. They are beginning to acknowledge them as phenomena but they can't explain them. And they still cannot understand how so-called UFOs travel with such high velocity and appear and disappear instantly. If orthodox science cannot do that, how can we assume that, because the conditions as we know them on Earth do not exist on Mars, therefore there is no life there?

... Those intelligences are more advanced, they are masters of matter. They dress themselves with gross matter at will. They have a shape similar to ours, they are human beings who have passed through the Idea of Man and, yes, they do have organized societies. ... [these entities] are assisting those of us who are at lower levels of evolution. Pay attention, not every being within our solar system is on the same level of evolution. Those who are at higher levels help those below to evolve. And when every entity attains the stage of Theosis then our solar system will have no purpose to exist. It will, sooner or later, disintegrate. Note that not all planets of our solar system are at the same level of evolution. For example, the entities on Mars may be of the highest stage of development. They may be residing within the spirit world counterpart of that planet. Consequently, they could travel anywhere within our solar system and even beyond it into other solar systems and galaxies.

Those extraterrestrials who visit us may be, therefore, from other solar systems and they visit us in order to challenge us and help us evolve. They appear like flying saucers as a way of expressing themselves to us in a material form that we can understand. When they enter our system they gather matter from our planet and appear with the known human form characteristic of our planet.

Daskalos then narrated an experience he had had with such beings ... this took place in 1969.

I felt them coming. I was out of my body and I came near their spaceship which was roving over my house. The beings inside sent me a message urging me to return to my body because the spaceship could burn my etheric. When I returned I heard a neighbor, an old woman, screaming ... She saw the spaceship, which looked like an expanding and contracting ball of light, ...

They returned late that night. Two of them materialized in my house. They looked like men. They explained to me that they could take on the characteristics of the beings of the planet. They wore silvery suits and it was hard to distinguish their outfits from their skin. When I touched them I felt as if I had touched a snake. We communicated by thought. They entered into my aura and at that moment they knew everything I knew.

When Daskalos came out of his trance once more, he continued .. to narrate his experiences with the extraterrestrials.

I just saw three flying saucers. The entities inside communicated with me ... they invited me to move onto their side and observe their work. These entities are really advanced. They live in the higher spirit world and have no form. They asked me to abandon the image of myself and join them . ... Now I must leave behind the image of myself and ascend formless with only my self-awareness. ...

"We are the guardians of garden Earth," they said. "Your Earth is like a nursery school of noisy infants."... They seemed as if they were working in groups which gave me the impression of flying saucers. I asked them whether they in fact were flying saucers but they seemed to ignore my question. Their response instead was that they are 'space people' .. they live around our planet.

.. I communicated with these beings by coordinating myself with them. I was inside them and they were inside me. I expressed a wish to meet them again and invited them to come down to Earth. They refused. They preferred, they said, to watch us from afar. "You know the way, come and meet us here," they replied. Perhaps it is not pleasant for them to visit the Earth. When I was about to return to my body they advised me, "Come pass through us so that you may go down rested." I felt very relaxed after that. They truly love us.

Daskalos expressed his amazement and ruminated upon the nature of these superintelligences.

I felt as if they were a form of light with vibrating intensity. They are innumerable. .. I was receiving their thoughts and I could understand them. I had the impression that whatever I knew they knew.

Commentary

The last decade has seen an important step forward in that as video media taken with advanced military equipment have officially been made public, and official statements from the (US) government have confirmed the existence of unexplained UFO phenomena.

This represents a 'crack' in the contemporary worldview, as the phenomena are impossible to explain by the current materialistic worldview.

What is left unanswered with the UFO sightings phenomenon is the why: why these advanced beings materialize in such form and appear to humanity, and also the circumstances under which this happens. Do they appear consciously, for us to notice them and know of their existence, or do we just happen to spot them by coincidence in their ongoing activities (whatever these may be)? They do not choose to appear on worldwide mass events (like the Olympic Games, Superbowl or World Championships), not in city centers of Tokyo, Shanghai, New York. They do not leave any comprehensible message, do not communicate but are rather evasive when seen.

Daskalos said "they visit us in order to challenge us". So are they maybe part of the confrontation of the materialistic culture and worldview (see There's a crack in everything), a modern variant or version of how miracles and magic were used in the past?

The 1947 Roswell Incident

• Became world famous because of witness reports and media attention, far quite a while it appeared clearly something special had happened there. Fast forward to the 2020s, and meanwhile web research shows that the event has been officially positioned as a balloon event, and all other versions are played down considerably, or information seems to have disappeared.
• An interesting element is the official memo that has become available thanks to the US Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). It concerns an 1950 internal memo to J. Edgar Hoover, the Director of the FBI, from the head of the Washington, D.C. field office. The memo describes how an Air Force investigator reported that three flying saucers were recovered in New Mexico, and that the the incident may have happened because of 'a very high-powered radar' device that the government has there, which interfered with the UFOs' 'controlling mechanisms.' They [the saucers] were described as being circular in shape with raised centers, approximately 50 feet in diameter. Each one was occupied by three bodies of human shape but only three feet tall, dressed in metallic cloth of a very fine texture. Each body was bandaged in a manner similar to the blackout suits used by speed fliers and test pilots.
• Again: this memo has been positioned as having not much importance or relevance or even having nothing to do with the 1947 event.
• Compare the quote from this report "dressed in metallic cloth of a very fine texture" with what Daskalos said some 30 years later (quote above) "They wore silvery suits and it was hard to distinguish their outfits from their skin. When I touched them I felt as if I had touched a snake."
• Remains unanswered: if the 1947 event truly happened and was so special, why would the memo then only reach the head of the FBI three years later? Was this perhaps kept a strict military secret first, even for the FBI?
• Note Roswell is well known but surely not the only event of such 'interesting' nature, see also the 1974 Berwyn incident in the UK.

In any one of the above scenarios brings with it the justification for a greater war machine for which governments salivate over, and have for the past 100+ years.

But consider the more plausible view of Spiritual Science (summarized loosely in my own words):

Humanity was created by Angelic Hierarchies at the behest of the Father Principle (i.e. God). In the beginning, human beings remained under the direct guidance of the Hierarchies (i.e. through atavistic clairvoyance). As humanity evolved farther 'upward' in their development, in accordance with the Will of God, humanity was given the gift of Freedom. Such Freedom is depicted in the Bible as the 'Fall of Man' i.e. when they partook of the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge (of good and evil). With this knowledge, humanity was given the power of choice, Freedom. Over time this freedom was abused, resulting in the fall of Lemuria (by fire), the 'sinking' of Atlantis (by flood) and sank so far into physical hardness that it was in danger of reaching a 'point of no return'. At the turning point in time, there incarnated a 'High Spiritual Being' whose coming was prophesied over millennia by all major religions and belief systems. That Being's incarnation is recorded in the Bible in the story of the Baptism of Jesus of Nazareth — the product of strict hereditary blood lines wrought through the people 'chosen' for this purpose i.e. the Early Semites. In the human sheath of Jesus of Nazareth was incarnated the Christ. With his human death (as a free choice of His own sacrifice of Love), He succeeded in fully identifying with the spiritual creation of humanity and inserted into the human evolution stream the Impulse for each individual to lift themselves up and out of the threat of falling wholesale into the abyss. During the two millennia since the turning point in time, humanity has been watched over by its 'creator beings', often manifesting themselves to our sensory perception in many different forms. Their purpose is and has been to aid humanity in avoiding the next great catastrophe which will cause 2/3 of humanity to fall out of its intended evolution (to ultimately become the 10^th Hierarchy of Creator-beings): 1/3 will fall out of evolution but, in a distant future, retain the possibility of regaining some place in evolution; 1/3 will fall completely out of evolution and, in effect, those souls will be, due to their own misuse of the freedom afforded them, consumed back into nothingness.

Regarding the idea of 'malevolent beings', they do indeed exist. However their movements against humanity occur at the individual depths of each person's inner life. So, in terms of spiritual beings that focus their efforts on humanity, we are attacked from the inside by evil (most often manifesting as evil expressed outwardly) and are helped externally by loving beings (most often resulting in an inner change and strengthening of the individual).

Final Word

You will understand the physical world, only if you learn to know the spiritual world. Spiritual science is not meant for cranks, but for the most practical of the practical! Every form of life is spiritual. Even as ice is condensed water, so matter is condensed spirit. Mineral, plant, animal, or man – each is a condensed form of the spirit.

In our time, the spiritual principle had to move into the background; this had to be so that the great conquests of the physical plane would be possible, and perfection could be achieved in controlling the world perceived through the senses. Now the time approaches when humanity needs to go more deeply into the spiritual again. At present human beings are rushing towards a stage on the physical plane that could not be borne if spiritual life did not develop again.

An image of how necessary it is for humanity to deepen their spirituality: You know the tremendous advances made for example in the theory of electricity. A tremendous power lives in these energies, and this means there is a possibility that humanity will abuse them. Humanity will master terrible powers which will be put into effect on the physical plane, and this in the not too far distant future. They will be able, for instance, to cause detonations, explosions by remote control, with no one able to determine the originator. Humanity will have power. Woe, however, if they have not reached a high moral level and use those terrible powers for other than only good purposes! The masters who guide humanity foresaw that this time would come. It is the mission of Anthroposophical (spiritual science) teaching to prepare hearts and minds for what is coming, to warn them, and to show them the way and the goal.

We cannot investigate the reason for God's devotion ... it is an act of freedom ... the highest act of freedom of the Creator is this gratuitous devotion to the world out of love. There is no compulsion ... there is no "logical" reason (for us within the great spirit).
