The Pineal Gland
The pineal gland is a pea-sized gland shaped like a pine cone, located in the middle of the brain. It’s the organ of supreme universal connection and its significance appears in every culture throughout the world. Scientists refer to the pineal gland as the atrophied third eye. It, along with the pituitary, is the third eye chakra or energy center, but are more dormant than atrophied. According to Max Heindel, in the distant past, man was in touch with the inner worlds through an activated pineal and pituitary gland. Considered the most powerful and highest source of ethereal energy available to humans, the third eye has always been important in initiating psychic powers (e.g. clairvoyance and seeing auras.
Over time the pineal gland can become calcified. This occurs through either inactivity in, or complete lack of, a spiritual life – in other words, non use of the gland. There are also certain foods and chemicals we are exposed to, such as fluoride, which can contribute to the gland’s calcification. An important part of life is seeking connection with God, that is, to practice a spiritual life. If the pineal gland is calcified – picture a hard shell encasing it – and, therefore, in disuse, then our connection to higher realities and higher consciousness is cut off. We become extremely controllable at that point. Activation of the pineal gland causes the secretion of melatonin. If it is not active, there is little melatonin secreted. Reduced levels of melatonin in the system leads to increased stress, mood disorders and mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia or depression.
Look around you at the world today. Would you say there is increased “mental illness” breaking out? Like people ganging up on individuals not wearing a mask? If you follow the resources on this website you are witness to the madness going on all over the world. Would you say this is all being perpetrated in the name and interest of God? In war, both sides claim to have God on their side. This, of course, is illogical and impossible. We need to learn more and understand more about the spiritual life and the ways to pursue a path back to God.
Below are resources for learning the importance of this gland.
“Keep the Pineal Gland operating and you will Never grow Old, You will always be Young.”
– Edgar Cayce
