Love over FearPosted on 07/14/2021  |  By

It seems so often that we have relationships that somehow we view as “private.” And, of course, that may be so. But if we are to live in the Real Reality of “All is One,” that is, we are all a part of one another, then it seems to me that sometimes we should let others into our private little world where healing is found and the Love and Light of God shines so brightly through the darkness of our pain and struggles that such Light MUST be shared. So here I share such Light I received in an hour of darkness.

Before I share the Light and Love I received from a very dear friend, I’d like to say something about our world today – the “c@vid” world we live in and the over arching fear it has put humanity under. Why has this happened? Because of a rampant v1rus? No, because of our inability to rise above the dim of threats and allow the perfect Love – that exists within us – cast away the fear. Here is a metaphor about the internal struggle we all face, each and every day – “c@vid” or not.

An old Cherokee chief was teaching his grandson about life…

“A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy.
“It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.

“One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, self-doubt, and ego.

“The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

“This same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather,
“Which wolf will win?”

The old chief simply replied,
“The one you feed.”

And a truth about fear.

There are beings in the spiritual realms for whom anxiety and fear emanating from human beings offer welcome food. When humans have no anxiety and fear, then these creatures starve. People not yet sufficiently convinced of this statement could understand it to be meant comparatively only. But for those who are familiar with this phenomenon, it is a reality. If fear and anxiety radiates from people and they break out in panic, then these creatures find welcome nutrition and they become more and more powerful. These beings are hostile towards humanity.

Everything that feeds on negative feelings, on anxiety, fear and superstition, despair or doubt, are in reality hostile forces in supersensible worlds, launching cruel attacks on human beings, while they are being fed. Therefore, it is above all necessary to begin with that the person who enters the spiritual world overcomes fear, feelings of helplessness, despair and anxiety. But these are exactly the feelings that belong to contemporary culture and materialism; because it estranges people from the spiritual world, it is especially suited to evoke hopelessness and fear of the unknown in people, thereby calling up the above mentioned hostile forces against them. ~Rudolf Steiner

Will we continue to feed the dark wolf? Will we continue to feed the demonic creatures that impale us on the stake of tyranny? Will we continue to hate one another or will we find the strength within to begin once and for all to love one another, as God Loves us?

I had been under several days of Spiritual attack. In this midst of this, I shared what was going on with a Spiritual sister. This is how she responded. This is the love she showed me, showered over me in my time of struggle. She has, I know quite clearly, enough of her own struggles, yet she took the time to let God show His Love for me through her. We must all find it within ourselves to be obedient to such promptings – if we would only listen.

The stages of life are so interesting. I am almost a completely different person at nearly 70 than I was at 60. At 60, I was still mostly looking at life as if it was mine to do with as I wished, and that I had some sort of control. It’s so interesting—the mystery of being responsible for our choices, while living an unfolding life plan that was decided before we were born. Our life plans are unfolding right before our very eyes.

Where we lay down our heads at night is so important to our wellbeing, and my son and I were talking about this tonight, but it is possible we have chosen a time to live when the appearance of those beings and forces Steiner tells of seems to be happening. The cov problems are quite extraordinary, but likely are only scratching the surface of what is to come. I remember a few years ago feeling so angry about rampant greed sucking away a chance at a good life for so many people, when I was forced to accept that every single one of us chose to be here now for our own karmic needs, and perhaps a desire to serve the Lord who so lovingly serves us.

Those dark forces target the souls that love the Lord. They are relentless and cunning and far-reaching. They know our shadow selves and every weakness, whereas we don’t like to look at them, and they use that against us. They poke and stab and scratch and pound to wear us out, to break us. But God’s Spirit cannot be broken. It is whole and one and true and holy. It is the only thing that is real and they don’t have it. We do. And they hate us for that.

It doesn’t matter, though. Taking up the cross of self-crucifixion is NOT fun, but it is our work here.
Who knows when that lower self will die—but I don’t think the final death of our shadowed self is the point. I think it is the effort it takes to get under the cross, and to lift it onto our shoulders, and to live life with it there that matters to our beloved Lord. You are so important to Him, Kenneth. He sees your nature that loves first, that gives everything to Him, that serves with little thought for your own needs, and He loves you so deeply because of all that you are and do.

We may not have a real home here, because our Home is with him. We don’t have financial success because our hearts were never set on material things. Our hearts are elsewhere, seeking ways to express our gratitude and love for the Great Beings of Love who care for us.

All we can do in these terrible times is remember to Love and Serve what we know is right and true. We can’t see the big picture, but He can. We can only do our parts—and yours is to build that library of Truth for posterity, with your very important insights there to help us understand what we can’t see—but you can.

It feels like we have to be super humans some days, and maybe there is something to that in the area of determination to stay the course, but we are cells on the body of the SuperDivine and we know this. Many don’t, and that is why we are here, to serve those who are asking if there is more. I have never met anyone I was more certain of his true heart and his true love for God than you, Kenneth. We may be weak, we may stop and start, we may even fall, but He is divine and He picks us up, dusts us off and puts us right—because He needs our love as much as we need His.

Whatever happens in this world, it is part of a great plan of redemption and evolution that we probably can’t understand—but I don’t think we need to. One can’t understand Love—one can only experience it, and reflect it to the world.

God has a plan. It’s just a matter of throwing off the moldy old blanket you-know-who threw on your head, and looking up to see the loving hand of the Lord reaching to take you guys on the next leg of your journey.

He’s got you, and you’ve got this. You are so blessed by God not to be of this world, but of His world. And you are blessed by Erin, who willingly chose to spend her life with you, a man of God who would bring a spirit of holiness to her life. She is your true other half, and together, you are mighty in the Lord.

Seena Frost says in Soul Collage, “When the voices of the shadows get too strong, say to them, ‘Thank you for your opinion. Now, please sit down and be quiet.'”

THIS is love. THIS is how we need to start treating, helping, supporting one another in the face of the current trials and tribulations. This is the future that has been laid out, planned, for humanity – but only if we want it; Only if we work for it. You cannot change another person. The only person you can change is yourself. But who you are, who you become, influences and affects the lives of others in a beautiful way.

A parent can tell their child all day long “do this, don’t do that,” but the child will only learn what they are modeled by their parents, relatives, teachers and friends. It is time we grow up, throw off the chains of our past misled models and begin to fashion ourselves from within instead of by reacting only to the external influences of the lie. It is time for change. If we do not, so much will be lost. However if we do, more than we can imagine will be gained.
