A Living Nightmare
We go through life often unaware that we are living a nightmare. It is a nightmare not neccesarily of our own making, but certainly of our acceptance due to our own unbridled desires for satisfaction and titillation of our “five” senses.
We want to see pretty things; we want to hear sounds that drive our emotions where we want them to be at any given moment; we want to smell fresh baked bread or the salty air of the ocean or those aromas that bring back beloved memories; we want to taste only sweet things that soothe our tongue regardless of what our stomach demands; we want to feel only that that stimulates – most often that means sexually.
So what is so wrong with this? Nothing, really. But dependent on your understanding of such things, it could mean the disconnection of your Soul from your being.
Such understanding begins with an understanding of what makes us Human. Is it the satisfaction of our senses? Is being Human limited to one single experience of existence in the material, physical world? Or is there more to life, to life’s meaning, to it’s purpose? Are we really – honestly consider this – just a random accident, a cohesion of molecules that jumbled themselves together into what we call Humanity? Are you, as you sit there reading this, a mere accident?
If you believe we are mere accidents, then it is not a stretch to agree with those who sit on top of the world in their seats of power dangling intermittent carrots of fear and relief, driving the psyche of Humanity to the brink of insanity. If we – you and I – are mere molecular misfits, then perhaps they are right – we are indeed useless eaters and deserve to be the ones destroyed to provide them with the Lebensraum* they so desperately crave.
If you honestly believe you are a descendent of lower life forms, that who and what you are is merely an advanced animal that has only this one life to live – then please, leave this site and don’t return… That is, until you finally awaken from your programmed sleep. However, if you question this equation, please continue reading.
Above you see a keyhole. Looking through that keyhole you see the universe. Are you satisfied that the sky you look up at at night, with all its starry expanse, is only that – a sky full of distant stars that have little to nothing to do with you personally? What if I told you there is a key that can unlock the universe to you? A universe beyond the painfilled life you now live? What if I shared that key with you, the key that would set you free from the cage of your misguided, misunderstood life?
I know I sound like I’m about to pitch a once in a lifetime deal that will only cost you a mere $9.99. I’m not. Anyone who truly wants to help you, who claims they serve Humanity, and charges you a penny or more for that knowledge – is a liar and a cheat. The cost of owning Freedom alone is enough. Do not let yourself be further insulted by giving your money to those who are profiting off of your pain. But I digress…
The key is simply this – you. You are the key to the universe. The universe – often called the Kingdom of God – exists this very moment within you. You are not a highly developed animal – you are a Human Being. You are not an accident – you were, and are, fashioned by design, created by design, created by Spiritual Beings that are all around you this very moment.
I’m not going to continue by saying you are special, because maybe you are not. I don’t feel special Knowing what I know about Truth. Rather I am humbled. I am Free.
Not only are you a Human Being by Divine Design, you are a Spiritual Being. The Real You is not your body. The Real you is not really even your thoughts you believe define you – they are merely the footprints left behind on the organ of your brain as you muster your way through the maya of physical life. Nor are you a Human Being on a Spiritual journey. No. You are a Spiritual Being on a Human journey. And, WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT, there is NOTHING in the universe that can tell you, convince you, make you, otherwise.
Now it may seem like I am saying something like “just believe.” That is hogwash. I can believe a pink pig is purple but that does not make it so. If you dare to open that lock on the door of your True Self, maybe not immediately, but with time, you will KNOW the TRUTH and it WILL SET YOU FREE. I can promise you that.
How can I promise such a thing as Real Freedom? Because for Real Freedom to be Known it must be experienced. I cannot experience it for you, but I have experienced it for myself, and still do right now. And I have absolutely nothing to gain whether or not you gain your Freedom – nothing. I want nothing from you – not your money, not your thanks.
Know Thyself
So how does one fit such a key in such a lock? It is not easy, at all. The first thing required is desire. Pit the possibility of gaining absolute Freedom up against those things you hold most dear. Why do I say this? Because it just might cost you those things – it did me. But here is the thing. It might cost you those things you hold dear because the deeper you look into yourself the more you come to realize that those things are crutches, weak and sad replacements for the very thing you have really always sought – your Real Self and the Freedom that defines that Self.
You can begin by questioning everything. Seek real, concrete answers. Not from others. Others don’t want you to know the Secret. Others don’t want you to be more fulfilled than they themselves believe they are. But ask the right questions first – question yourself, your motives for wanting those things you deem important. Test yourself.
I’m going to stop here. I’ve said what I wanted to say in this post. One last thing, however. I’m 60 years old. And at 60 I have the Freedom I describe above. But it is not the end of things for me. I desire to live in this Freedom for another 30 years. But the times we now live in threaten that. THIS is my selfish motivation for wanting you to Know such Freedom. Because I want you Free too. Why? Because regardless of whether or not you take a risk to Know the Real You or not, if we do not shed our doubt, fear and hate and replace it with (Divine) Faith, Hope and Love, we are all lost and literally everything we hold dear – your Spirituality or your material possessions – they will all be washed away by the powers that are holding us down.
