A Faustian World
The erudite Faust is highly successful yet dissatisfied with his life, which leads him to make a pact with the Devil at a crossroads, exchanging his soul for unlimited knowledge and worldly pleasures.
The adjective “Faustian” imply sacrificing spiritual values for power, knowledge, or material gain.
Faust is irrevocably damned because he prefers human to divine knowledge: “he laid the Holy Scriptures behind the door and under the bench, refused to be called doctor of theology, but preferred to be styled doctor of medicine“.
We are now living in a Faustian era, with the self-styled “doctor of medicine” Fauci calling all the “shots.”
How much longer my dear friends? How much longer are we going to accept being led to the edge of the abyss and so many being pushed over the edge??
