Elucidation of the Lord’s PrayerPosted on 07/22/2021  |  By

It is good practice to choose a time at which, each day, we recite the Lord’s Prayer. However, it is important that we understand the breadth and depth of what we pray. This prayer was given to us by Christ Himself as how we should pray. It would be a shame to ignore such a gift.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.

The Godhead, the Father of Creation, the One we are blessed to call “Abba,” is He Who has no beginning and no end. He is the One above all the great realms Who blesses those who seek Him with the Spirit of Knowledge by which we come to Know ourselves, where we’ve come from, where we are going, and what we need to do to live.

His name is hallowed, it is sacred. Yahweh is the unpronounceable name of God. We are not permitted to voice the true name of God, nor is He to voice it to us. The name “I” can never be spoken to a human being from outside. It is the intimate name of God that human beings are only permitted to receive, sanctified in their hearts. We are created in His Image and therefore share this sacred name, I, with Him. It was written on the altar of the tabernacle. Therefore, we read: “To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna (the Revelation of the hidden Mysteries of God, for those with eyes to see and ears to hear) and I will give him a white stone (acceptance into the Kingdom, the opposite of a black stone of anathema) with a new name written on the white stone…” (Rev. 2:17).

Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done – on Earth as it is in Heaven.

As above, so below. As below, so above. We cannot be separated from the Spirit. We are not Human Beings on a Spiritual journey, but Spiritual Beings on a Human journey. We live, move, and have our Being in God, in the Spiritual realm. All is Spiritual.

There are two primary planes of existence – the Spiritual plane and the physical plane. These are intimately related and are inseparable. What occurs on the physical plane creates an effect on the Spiritual plane. The reverse is also true. God and those divinities that exist on the Spiritual plane are at all times effecting, and are affected by, events on the physical plane. God is intimately involved in every one of our lives and, indeed, in all of His creation.

Give us this day, our daily bread.

Human beings experience the power of God that flows to them as “manna.” Our daily bread is that of Knowing God, of being and becoming a part of His existence, His intention, His Love. To receive, however, we are obligated to ask, for He will not impede the blessing of Free Will He has bestowed upon us. We are the only impediment to our Knowledge of God. Seek and you shall find.

Those who received the I learned through an inner power of the spirit to recognize the name with the hidden manna. Through the fact that Christ revealed Himself in a physical body on the earth, Human Beings are to learn not to disdain the Earth like the ascetics, but to recognize that this Earth has something to give them. Not to reject what Mother Earth provides, nourishment but also the physical realm in which we learn and experience. For example, one of the most precious gifts of the senses is the sense of (loving) touch, to touch another in Divine Love, to mesh one’s Etheric body with another is, in essence, the touch of God.

And so, the thirst for existence (the Love of life, the heart of thankfulness for one’s life) should not be extinguished but we should purify our desires – to become the free, loving and moral beings we are meant to be.

And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.

We acquire karmic debt in the current life. We pay off karmic debt from past lives in the current life via deeds of selfless love. Such deeds, it must be understood, brings no profit for the future – it does not create a debt whereby the Universe “owes” us something. The individual knows this at an subconscious level, which is why there is so little true deeds of selfless love in the world today. It is possible for some karmic debt acquired in a particular life to be paid by deeds of selfless love in the same lifetime – this is the act of humility and the receiving of forgiveness.

The value we bring the world, to life, must be seen to lie wholly in deeds of love, not in deeds done for the sake of self-perfecting or selfish profit.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from all evil.

No man desires to see that Light which illumines the spaceless soul until pain and sorrow and despair have driven him away from the life of ordinary humanity. First he wears out pleasure; then he wears out pain — till, at last, his eyes become incapable of tears. You have to sacrifice a lot and fight a heavy fight with yourself. However, if you will lose the fight with yourself anyway, why not surrender now? The reward is blessedness and a life without sorrow and pain.

Sorrow and pain are our most benevolent teachers, while the joys of life are but fleeting. Let the pain and struggles of life become crystallized into Wisdom, the Wisdom of the Ages.

The Christ has shared in our temptations, our suffering, our pain. Because of Christ’s share in our pain and suffering, the pain of life will be extinguished. Our part is to release our yoke – the yoke of desire for comfort from material gain and look to Him Who replaces it with Knowledge. This Knowledge is power, it is freedom.

For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory forever and ever, Amen.

We place upon our sincere recognition and requests the seal of Truth: That God IS the Kingdom. That God IS the source of real Power. That God’s Glory will Light the life of those that seek Him in Spirit and in Truth – forever.

With “Amen,” we proclaim, “Let it be so.” Let it be so for all of Humanity, for all of Creation – above and below.
