Letter About Steiner's Sister
Five Days Before His Death
To Ludwig Count von Polzer-hoditz
Dornach, Goetheanum, March 25, 1925
My dear friend Count Polzer,
I'm sorry I didn't tell you about my sister's condition the last time you were with me. I was always thinking that now is the time when something like this must happen to my sister. The matter is particularly stubborn in her case and therefore could not be fought, which is possible with less stubbornness.
Thank you very much for the loving and energetic way in which you took charge of what was urgently needed. I agree with the choice of Mrs. Barth, whom I know well. I will be grateful to you from the bottom of my heart for everything you, my dear, will do in this matter. I ask you to do what you think is necessary.
Well, you arrange the payment for Frau Barth; please let me know when more funds are needed.
Many thanks for everything
Sincerely, yours
Rudolf Steiner
